How does the free one-hour trial work?
The trial is a complete online lesson for a first-time student. It includes instruction, an initial diagnosis of learning needs, and a recommendation for next steps. There is no obligation to continue.
How much does regular tutoring cost?
Regular tutoring starts at $60 per hour. Final rates may vary based on subject level, lesson duration, urgency, and the amount of preparation or ongoing support required.
How are online lessons conducted?
Lessons use live video, screen sharing, a digital whiteboard, shared documents, and graphing technology when appropriate.
Which subjects do you teach?
MathPhile specializes in AP Calculus AB and BC, college Calculus I and II, Precalculus, Algebra 2, and SAT/ACT Math.
Do you tutor students outside Florida?
Yes. MathPhile serves students online across the United States.
Do you assign homework?
Practice may be recommended when it supports the student’s goals and schedule. The amount depends on the tutoring plan.
What is the cancellation policy?
The final policy should be confirmed when tutoring begins. Families should provide reasonable notice when rescheduling so the lesson time can be used effectively.
Can lessons be recorded?
Recording is not automatic. Any recording arrangement must be agreed to in advance and comply with privacy requirements.
